Lewis and Scott was founded from a personal experience. The founders’ grandmother, Joan, lived for over 30 years in a Hertfordshire maisonette, staying for its familiarity and proximity to family, even as it became unsuitable with age. As her personal community grew smaller and her home, harder to navigate, there were no suitable, affordable local alternatives for ageing well in place, a gap Lewis & Scott was created to address.
